We proudly supply customers across Canada and internationally. We are currently hiring a Quality Control Inspector at our head office in Red Deer, Alberta. This is an entry-level position, and on-the-job training is provided, perfect for someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing and quality.### What We Offer* Stable 40-hour work week* Comprehensive benefits after 3 months* Employee&Family Assistance Program (EFAP) for confidential support* RetireSmart retirement saving program eligibility after 6 months* Paid vacation and personal time* Annual PPE and wellness allowances* Perkopolis discount program* Company events including BBQs, holiday party, and our annual Canalta DayWhat Will You Do* Inspect incoming materials and components to confirm quality and specification requirements* Perform quality checks and testing such as measurements, thread testing, hardness, vacuum testing, and surface finish verification* Review technical documents such as drawings, datasheets, tolerances, and material test reports (MTRs)* Maintain heat number traceability and properly label/mark components* Complete inspection records and quality documentation* Identify non-conforming materials, create NCRs, and support corrective action follow-up* Operate equipment safely (forklift, jib crane, hand tools, grinders) - training provided if needed* Support shop work including assembly assistance, cleaning/preservation, material handling, and housekeepingWhat Do You Need* Comfortable working in a shop/manufacturing environment* Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the day* Class 5 driver's license* Strong reading, writing and communication skills in English* Forklift experience is considered an asset (training may be available)Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pmOvertime as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
