Ensure organization’s physical assets are reliable, efficient, and safe, providing the best possible environment for employees to work in. Lead and facilitate the Maintenance Department safety processes to achieve plant safety goals, including Zero Injuries. Align maintenance strategies with overarching plant goals as a core member of the leadership team.Supervise plant maintenance organization, including a Maintenance Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Planner/Scheduler, and Inventory Coordinator Coordinators. Manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices, emphasizing effective planning/scheduling and building a solid program of preventive/predictive maintenance.Strategic plan, coordinate and prioritize maintenance requirements in conjunction with operations departments to obtain budgetary cost and high reliability. Ensure maintenance mechanics are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that maintenance procedures are accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost‑effective manner.Communicate regularly with all maintenance team, both individually and as a group, to ensure two‑way information flow. Conduct employee performance feedback based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance team. Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department and support mechanic skill development.Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment. Rely on Supervisors and Planners for day‑to‑day operations. Update equipment history, repair records, repair frequency, and resource library. Adhere to L&I requirements/processes and record in compliance with statutory and company requirements. Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment. Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance‑related problems.Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance program. Control the repair and maintenance budgets, ensuring they are in line with the fiscal plan. Implement cost reductions to offset negative or unplanned variances to budget. Ensure city, county, province, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are always met.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (BSME preferred). 5+ years of leadership experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CMMS programs – Maximo preferred. Strong maintenance knowledge including reliability concepts, processes, and methodologies.Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience is an asset. Analytical, data‑driven problem‑solving and action‑planning skills. Ability to empower, supervise and direct a diverse workforce. Strong computer skills and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to interpret drawings is preferred.Proven ability to build inter‑departmental relationships, lead change, and continuously improve the performance of the team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Note: This is a Safety Sensitive position. Equal Opportunity Employment
