Job Overview We currently have an exciting opportunity for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in Public Sector Finance as a Management Accountant. This role offers the chance to work in a fast paced, complex and rewarding environment, contributing to the financial and operational management of NHS Tayside.

Responsibilities Working with senior management accounting staff, the post holder will be responsible for delivering a management accounts service to an organisational area/service/department. As a member of the Finance Team, the post holder will assist in supporting the organisation to ensure strong financial management within NHS Tayside. The role involves working within a team of forward-thinking professionals in Management Accounting whilst also working in parallel with a broad range of services. The post holder will provide a comprehensive financial management service to ensure effective budgetary control and financial balance, demonstrating proactive approach, initiative and ability to prioritise workload.

Eligibility to Work in the UK To work in the United Kingdom, applicants must demonstrate legal entitlement to work in the country. NHS Scotland will check entitlement to work in the UK as part of pre-employment checks.

Work Hours This is a full-time role of 36 hours per week, primarily office based with flexible hours considered.
