As an experienced Product Design Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and refine products from concept to production. This role requires 5-8 years of experience and expertise in manufacturing processes, especially plastics and metals. Your hands-on contribution will significantly influence the quality and performance of the end products.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop new product designs using various manufacturing processes • Build and test prototypes for design evaluation • Support cost estimation and design optimization • Create and update technical documentation and production drawings • Conduct quality control and implement testing procedures
Requirements:• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field • 5-8 years of experience in product design and manufacturing • Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks • Familiar with tooling and high-volume production environments • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
