Plant Associate– Waste Management, Port Coquitlam

Take on a vital role as a Plant Associate specializing in waste management and processing. This position emphasizes safety and precision while handling various waste types.

As a Plant Associate, you will ensure that waste is unloaded safely from vehicles and segregated correctly for incineration. You’ll handle staging operations for the Biotrack system and maintain high standards in cleanliness and organization within the workspace. This role also includes operating the tub wash unit and ensuring all procedures align with safety regulations and health protocols.

Key Responsibilities:• Unload waste and perform material separation for incineration • Stage waste on conveyor for Biotrack system scanning • Load and manage autoclave bins for processing tasks • Operate tub washers and maintain equipment functionality • Address housekeeping concerns efficiently

Requirements:• Minimum of 1 year experience in plant operations • Effective communication and adherence to safety policies • Valid driver's licence preferred for driving responsibilities • Strong focus on detail in operational activities • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions
