Section Chief - Research&Technology Project Engineering, Ecojet and labs What are your contributions to the team?

Manage a team of professionals in project engineering for Ecojet technology development and R&T Labs.

Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and training, to enable employees to reach their goals.

Define individual goals and expected results for employees under your supervision.

Conduct employee performance reviews, and lead the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Interact with cross-functional teams in the establishment of project scope, schedule and budget.

Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers and partner representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of project scope, schedule, and budget.

Manage priorities between projects and activities.

Manage communication and visibility reports for the various levels of the organization on risk mitigation, execution, resource allocation and budget.

Support continuous improvement and problem-solving for your projects and activities.

How to thrive in this role?

You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

You have more than 10 years of relevant experience in aeronautics engineering.

You have strong experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the aeronautics industry, and strong knowledge of aeronautics technology development.

You can manage multiple concurrent projects and activities.

You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork and support knowledge sharing at all levels.

You are autonomous, results-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethics.

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.

You are fluent in French and English.
