This role will focus on monthly review, oversight, compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple operating companies. Estimated commitment: Approximately 10–15 hours per month Flexible scheduling Combination of remote and in-office work may be considered ResponsibilitiesReview monthly bookkeeping entries and reconciliations Verify accuracy of financial reporting Review and assist with: HST filings Payroll remittances EHT obligations Corporate tax planning/prepayments Review AP and AR aging reports Monitor cash flow reporting and account balances Assist with monthly close proceduresIdentify accounting inconsistencies or operational concerns Help implement improved financial controls and processes Coordinate with ownership and internal administration staff Support preparation of clean, bank-ready financial statements Qualifications CPA designation preferred Experience with service-based and/or construction accountingStrong understanding of: Job costing Payroll remittances Multi-entity accounting Financial controls QuickBooks Online Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and identify issues proactively What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Detail-orientedProactive Operationally minded Accountable Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Interested in helping build scalable financial systems within a growing organization Compensation Competitive hourly or monthly retainer structure Compensation based on experience and qualifications Pay: $66,625.86-$133,286.57 per yearBenefits: Flexible schedule On-site parking Work Location: In person
