Production Support, Selwyn

Production Part Time Sewlyn, ON $19 - $21 CAD per hour

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, Production Support is responsible for working the production line as instructed and strictly following all health and safety guidelines. Production Support personnel operate and maintain the production line equipment in accordance with Company protocols.

Specific Accountabilities

Adherence to product quality and safety standards

Maintain all aspects of our food safety program to ensure compliance with CFIA

Push, pull, lift, move and stack product through various machines

Responsibilities

Monitor the assembly line and removing faulty products

Work on the production line and meeting production targets

Train new team members

Assist in other area where needed

Report any issues to the supervisor on duty

Maintain tidy, clean work environment

Follow policies and GMP’s

Other duties as required

Health and Safety Accountabilities

Must follow the protocols for attire and GMP’s when entering the manufacturing facility

Ensure uniforms are held to standard

Report any incidents or accidents to the Production Manager

Ensure Fragrance Free Policy is being followed

Qualifications, Education, Experience

High School Diploma

Food Manufacturing experience

Some mechanical knowledge

Able to lift 20-50 pounds

Working Conditions Physical Effort Work activities require some periods of physical effort. Work includes frequent standing, stooping, and bending and requirement to occasionally lift and carry large or heavy objects.

Physical Environment Work environment contains only occasional exposure to mild unpleasant or disagreeable conditions with a remote possibility of risk of accident or health hazards.

Sensory Attention Work activities involve need to concentrate for intermediate durations at a time with some tasks requiring close attention. The need for detailed or precise work is moderate.

Mental Stress Occasional exposure to one or more mental pressures, though the mental stress would not be noticeably disruptive. Work is repetitious and related unpleasant stress reaction is not typically strong.
