About The Job

Functions as a member of the larger Hospitals&Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) or Tertiary Mental Health Services multi‑disciplinary care team.

Ensures that persons with serious and persistent mental health problems and/or problematic substance use have access to timely, responsive, evidence‑based treatment and clinical supports across the continuum of available services.

Provides assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and urgent response to clients who may also have serious functional impairment in physical health and personal, family, financial, occupational, and social life.

Acts as a primary clinician utilizing a variety of specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups, and/or families.

We are looking for a self‑directed, motivated, reliable and flexible mental health‑trained nurse (RN/RPN) who enjoys working in a team environment and has a strong desire to learn.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0–37.5 hours per week on an as‑needed basis.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00 hours.

About This Location Braemore Lodge is a 16‑bed licensed facility providing psychosocial rehabilitation for persons with a serious and persistent mental illness. Four of the beds are tertiary specialized residential. The facility focuses on rehabilitation and recovery to restore or develop each person’s ability to live a meaningful life,employing principles of psychosocial rehabilitation and a client‑centered approach.
