Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Piping Engineer to join our Mining&Mineral business focusing on designing and delivering mining projects globally. This opportunity is onsite. The role will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. This position is located in Trail, BC; Vancouver, BC; Burlington, ON; or Saskatoon, SK. Piping Engineering design related to mining and metal processing, specifically Gold, potash and chemical processing Prepare Piping Design Criteria, Specifications, Line Lists, Valve Lists and Specialty Items Lists Prepare Material Class sheets and Valve data sheets Prepare stress analysis calculations (CAESAR II, supports, anchor design, etc.)Prepare system design calculations (system sizing and hydraulics) Coordinate the piping design activities with other disciplines Deliver a fit for purpose piping design for construction Assist with the development of Process Flow Sheets, PFDs and P&IDs Support the development of Utility Flow Sheets, PFDs and P&IDs Write specifications and review project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy Assist in manpower plans for capital projects and provide estimates for engineering output to clients Develop and maintain positive, sustainable client relationshipsCoordinate and work with project team members in Canada Qualifications

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in Canda without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future. Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada with the ability to register in the province of Saskatchewan 3-5 years' related experience, focusing on mining projectsAbility to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills Equal Opportunity Employer
