Overview
Home Share is a residential option for adults with developmental disabilities, where the individual shares a home with a care provider who delivers ongoing, individualized support. The role is a residential Home Share Provider who will support the client in their own home. Responsibilities
Provide direct support in all areas of living, including meal preparation, medication monitoring and reminders, personal hygiene, recreation, leisure and socialization. Assist with life‑skills development and community participation. Support the client in performing daily living tasks and maintaining a safe, clean environment.Qualifications&Requirements
Resident of the Castlegar, BC area. Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certification. WCB insurance. Completion of a home study, reference/background checks, criminal record check for working with vulnerable adults, physician’s certificate of good health. Full time commitment; ability to work in person throughout the week.Compensation
Pay range: $30,000.00– $50,000.00 per year.
