This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Field Inspector, based in Ottawa, ON. In this role, the Field Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, assessing the safety and operational efficiency of elevating devices, and preparing detailed inspection reports. The role also involves collaboratingwith consultants and team members to ensure compliance with relevant safety codes and regulations. Regular site visits, communication with clients, and occasional travel may be required.Qualifications

Technical skills in engineering concepts or mechanics relevant to elevating devices Experience preparing thorough inspection reports and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with clients and team members Attention to detail and a commitment to safety practicesValid driver’s license and willingness to travel for in office inspections as necessary Previous experience in elevating device mechanisms, provincial safety inspections, or equipment installation is an asset however we will train for elevator specifics Candidates holding certifications such as Elevating Device Mechanic or Certified Elevator Inspector are preferred
