Become a key player in the Vehicle Observability team at General Motors as a Senior Dev and QA Engineer. This hybrid role focuses on ensuring the reliability of software across vehicles and cloud environments.
In this pivotal role, you will take charge of test planning and strategy, encompassing manual and automated tests for observability software APIs using C++, Java, and Python. You will be responsible for analyzing logs, managing defects, and collaborating across functions such as development and product teams to expedite project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:• Own test strategies from planning to execution • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across multiple scenarios • Design and execute automated tests for APIs • Utilize HIL/SIL environments for functional testing • Analyze performance metrics and validate requirements
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science • 5+ years in software or embedded systems testing • Proficiency in C/C++, Java, and Python • Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI systems • Solid grasp of vehicle communication protocols
