We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.## **Your role*** Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD; Sketching, three-dimensional computer modeling, drawings and construction documents.* Apply relevant Codes&Standards and regulatory requirements and coordinate with design team to ensure compliance.* Interface with Engineering teams, throughout the lifecycle of the design project (i.e., from preliminary and conceptual engineering to detailed design, implementation and close-out) to provide practical and effective solutions as per requirements.* Provide field support through site visits and inspections, ensuring adherence to design intent and quality requirements.* Revise existing drawings/3D models (relative to the discipline) from detailed verbal or written instructions, and/or marked up drawings.* Implement field change requests by updating models, drawings, and BOMs to reflect construction modifications.## **About you*** College diploma or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years in piping/plant layout/mechanical design and drafting.* Experience supporting field teams through site visits and inspections, ensuring alignment with design requirements.* Experience drafting site layouts and construction drawings for industrial sites, buildings and structures is required. Knowledge of new nuclear early site and facility design and drafting is an asset.* Working knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D is a must.
