Innovate and design with a leading trailer manufacturer as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Bring your creativity and engineering skills to a hands-on environment.
This dynamic role involves designing trailer components using 2D and 3D CAD, translating complex 3D models into detailed drawings. Collaboration with production is essential to ensure that your designs are not only creative but also feasible. You will also manage documentation and address any design or production challenges that arise.
Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop trailer components with CAD software • Convert 3D models to accurate 2D drawings • Work closely with production teams on design feasibility • Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges • Maintain detailed project documentation and timelines
Requirements:• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D/3D AutoCAD • Familiarity with ProNest or similar nesting software • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities • Preferred experience: 1+ year in design/engineering • Creative approach to problem-solving
