Position Overview Empower Simcoe seeks Permanent Part‑time Support Workers I and II to work in group homes in Orillia, providing essential support for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Compensation&Benefits $25.55 per hour, up to 63 hours biweekly, 11 paid statutory holidays, Confidential Employee Assistance Program, employer‑paid health, life, and dental insurance, sick and personal leave, vacation hours, and RRSP match up to 4%.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support during overnight shifts, personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances.

Assist individuals to appointments or events to foster community connections.

Attend team meetings and training during daytime hours.

Minimum Qualifications

Developmental Service Worker diploma or acceptable equivalency (Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Nursing, Psychology, Personal Support Worker, etc.).

Or a Degree/Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field with at least 2 years full‑time work experience directly supporting people.

Valid Class "G" driver’s license (own reliable transportation an asset).

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and daytime hours.
