Production Packer, Huntsville

MBRP Ltd. is a fast-growing manufacturer&distributor of performance exhaust systems for the automotive and powersports industries. Located in the heart of Muskoka, MBRP has always been an employer of choice. We are looking for a Production Packer. This position is on-site and operates on a continental 12-hour shift schedule, including both day and night shifts. AI may be used to assist in screening applications. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health&Safety Act and regulations

Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that MBRP requires to be used or worn

Report to your Supervisor the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware, and which may endanger yourself or another worker

Report to your Supervisor any contravention of the Occupational Health&Safety Act and regulations or the existence of any hazard you observe

Comply with MBRP Policies and Procedures that apply

Report to Area Leader/Team Leader

Job Specific Duties:

Operate small tooling (air stapler, bag sealer, paper pack machine, vacuum lift assist, etc.)

Perform physical lifting, bending, standing

Accurately complete daily production paperwork

Follow standardized work procedures&standardized quality checks

Inspect for basic quality issues

Lifting up to 45 lbs., single lift

Accurately count parts, product and/or hardware

Work in a safe manner

Ability to drive a forklift an asset. Can be trained when/if required

Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment

Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually

Check and weigh materials and products

Sort, pack, crate and package materials and production

Preferred Skills:

High level of attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team

Comfortable utilizing basic computer skills

Problem solving

Versatile and flexible to learn other skills as required
