The Junior Title Officer will support clients and internal teams by preparing and reviewing title documents, conducting searches, and managing insurance requests within documented service level agreements. This role emphasizes strong customer service, quality control, and adherence to underwriting guidelines.Responsibilities
Prepare and review documents, including title searches, applying Underwriting Guidelines to all files. Complete all Requests for Insurance in line with individual lender procedures and service level agreements. Respond to all communications in accordance with best practices and STAR Qualities. Develop internal and external partnerships to enhance the overall customer service experience.Complete daily quality control audits as per guidelines. Handle inbound and/or outbound customer calls. Assist with reports, filing, and data entry as required. Qualifications
Previous experience in the financial and/or legal environment is an asset. Strong customer service skills focused on building relationships. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to exercise good judgment in protecting confidential information. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload in a busy office environment.Working knowledge of social media automation tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced computer skills in Word and Excel. Salary and Hours
Core hours of operation are 8:30 a.m.– 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Total direct compensation ranges from $39,000 to $46,870 CAD. Benefits
