Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX As the Senior Project Manager, People Projects, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects from brief through to delivery. You will partner with Program Managers to define project objectives, scope, budget, resource allocations, approvals and success criteria. You will be leading projects that will evolve, innovate and scale our People programming for employees globally. Your knowledge of project management, combined with your strategic thinking, strong partnership and communication skills will empower you to manage an efficient end‑to‑end process and deliver exceptional results.

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

We create and implement standard operating principles to ensure a consistent experience for our global and regional employees. We work in close partnership with our cross‑functional partners within People&Culture, and across the organization.

Core Activities

Leading the planning and execution of all assigned projects; focused primarily on retail and cyclical programming workstreams ensuring they are delivered on‑time, on‑budget and in line with our standard operating principles

Maintaining a prioritized outline of projects, milestones, action items and status reports for all assigned projects

Providing strategic guidance&thought partnership to Program Owners and Project Teams, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities and deliverables

Building and maintaining relationships with key partners across retail and within the organization

Coordinating and communicating effectively with project partners, including cross‑functional teams and external vendors to ensure visibility, engagement and ongoing alignment

Proactively identifying and managing project risks and recommending mitigation strategies

Ensuring project documentation is well‑documented, current and complete

Championing process innovation&optimization within the People Project team to continuously evolve operational practices, tools, process and workflow

Future Projects

Leading the larger scale projects and new initiatives as part of our longer‑term roadmap

Working with the Americas and the global group People and Culture team members on broader initiatives

Qualifications

You have 5 years’ experience in complex Project Management, and ideally a degree or diploma in project management

You have a relentless attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines

You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide insights and guide work across the department and business

You ideally have experience in People and Culture (Human Resources) related programming such as learning&development, total rewards, people analytics, talent management, systems and/or operations programs in a global business landscape

You have the ability to influence and guide without direct control

You are proficient in creating, organizing and leading efficient and effective workflow and project plans

You have advanced experience using project management platforms and tools (Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc)

You are proficient in budget management, financial tracking and reporting

You can collaborate cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment to drive results

You are capable of finding simple, scalable solutions for complex problems and developing others to do the same

You are proficient in managing a portfolio of projects and leading change through others

You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships at all levels

You have a commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and personal development

You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity

Brings exceptional PowerPoint design and visual storytelling capability; expected to consistently produce polished, high‑impact presentations that support decision‑making and stakeholder alignment.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is CAD$94,000 - CAD$124,000

Total Rewards Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
