This senior role requires a Mechanical Layout Designer to support WSP’s Resources subsector. With a strong emphasis on mechanical engineering for plant upgrades and new facilities, you will prepare 3D models, review vendor drawings, and conduct trade-off studies. Your designs will be impactful, ensuring conformity to engineering standards while collaborating with multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare 3D models and layout arrangements for upgrades • Review vendor drawings for design conformity • Develop process diagrams and design calculations • Conduct trade-off studies and prepare reports • Maintain and revise equipment libraries and department standards

Requirements:• College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology • 8+ years in layout design for heavy industrial projects • Proficiency in Plant3D, Revit, and SolidEdge • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • French language skills an asset
