Independent Contractor What You’ll Do

Prepare civil earthwork engineering drawings and Civil 3D models based on engineering data for dams, water retention structures, tailings storage facilities, waste rock storage facilities, site earthwork planning, site grading, drainage, access roads, stormwater management plans, and other infrastructure.Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project integration. Conduct periodic site visits for field checks as required. Assist the Civil engineering team and provide technical support to the project team. Prepare civil material take‑offs and perform volumetric calculations. Produce as‑built drawings, design and detail new components from previous designs, and prepare specifications, design computations, drawings, and models as needed.Support multiple projects, managing client deadlines and deliverables. Qualifications

College degree or diploma in civil engineering or related field. At least 10 years of EPCM/design experience. Strong knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD with recent project experience. Experience within the mining industry. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $65 to $75, depending on skill set, experience, certifications, and work location. EEO Statement
