Sr. Assurance Manager, Niagara Falls

Role Description This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Senior Assurance Manager at our St. Catharines office. The Senior Assurance Manager will oversee and manage assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, supervising and mentoring assurance team members, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The role also involves providing technical guidance, conducting risk assessments, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

Strong technical expertise in assurance, financial reporting, and auditing

Public Accounting experience is required

Proven leadership and team management skills, including supervising and mentoring staff

Proficiency in stakeholder and client relationship management

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

Advanced communication and interpersonal abilities

Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in public accounting, with an emphasis on assurance

Experience in the Canadian regulatory and compliance environment is a strong asset

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects effectively

Experience within the Niagara Region or ties to the local community valued
