Location: Greater Vancouver Area; Greater Toronto Area Job Type: Full Time Regular Work Program: Hybrid (remote based in Surrey or Toronto office) Starting Salary Range: $96,800.00– $125,900.00 Job Purpose
This role is accountable for leading the development, implementation, updating, and enhancement of the organization‑wide Operational Resilience and Recovery program, aligning with evolving regulatory requirements from OSFI and CDIC, and ensuring integration of financial crisis management planning into the credit union’s decision‑making processes.Background Screening Requirements

Develop the Resilience and Recovery Program Contribute towards the strategy for developing and implementing the operational resilience framework Liaise with external networks and industry groups to maintain awareness of current practices and regulatory guidance Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise‑wide Operational Resilience Program, including identification, inventory, and prioritization of critical business services, impact tolerance, scenario analysis, implementation strategy, training, testing, reporting, technology strategy, and integration with risk management programsGovern the development, annual implementation, and refinement of the Recovery Plan Analyze and respond to resolution‑planning requests from internal and external parties and to OSFI Provide guidance to stakeholders on creating and updating individual resiliency plans Monitor and report on industry and regulatory guidance related to resolution planningSkills&Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required; CPA preferred; BCP Designation (DRI/BCI) is an asset; Risk designation preferred 10 years’ experience developing, implementing, and managing large‑scale cross‑functional risk‑management initiatives, with experience communicating with regulators such as OSFI; Treasury or Finance experience preferredStrong writing, communication, and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Business acumen and risk‑management concepts related to financial institutions Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills Capability to collaborate with key stakeholders and influence across all levelsProven governance, risk, and control experience; sound understanding of OSFI regulatory requirements Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple deadlines Equity, Diversity&Inclusion
