Position Overview We’re searching for a

Commercial Insurance Advisor . Operate out of our head office in

Surrey, BC

and provide exceptional client service. The role focuses on growing insurance industry knowledge and experience, with an emphasis on client relationship ownership and community presence.

Responsibilities

Promote and educate clients on insurance products.

Own and manage client relationships, driving retention and satisfaction.

Discover clients’ business challenges and act as a client advocate by identifying needs and providing recommendations.

Assist clients with their insurance needs, applying basic underwriting principles.

Deliver superior customer service that promotes client retention.

Help grow the company’s presence and profile in the local community.

Actively seek opportunities to grow your career and explore new possibilities.

Qualifications

Laser‑focused with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Excellent at building authentic client relationships.

Master time management skills, prioritizing workload with confidentiality and discretion.

Insurance broker license Level 2 or working toward CAIB/CIP (financial support provided).

2–5 years of commercial insurance experience.

Compensation&Benefits Expected hiring range: $50,000 – $60,000 based on a 37.5‑hour work week. Salary depends on qualifications, experience, market conditions, and internal equity. Westland also offers a competitive commission.
