to this position. Job Summary: The Program Assistant supports the daily operations of
the facility and supports clients
byproviding a variety of day-to-day physical, emotional, and social supports,life skills assistance, information, resources, and demonstrations, inaccordance with pre-established care schedules . Works to ensure a safe, well maintained, and healthy environment. Responsibilities: Client Services Providesfeedback and input regarding clients’ needs, performance, and progressIn accordancewith established care plans, assists clients with the development of lifeskills such as maintaining personal hygiene, housekeeping, meal planning andpreparation, meeting financial obligations, making and keeping appointments,and interpersonal skills by methods such as demonstrating and modelingappropriate actionsAdministersmedication to clients and provides medication reminders, in accordance withestablished policy Participates inand oversees various client-focused social and recreational activities Identifiesavailable social, economic, recreational, and educational services andresources in the community that will meet clients’ needs.
