The Role Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join their team in Surrey, BC. Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, the Receptionist will play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized office environment while supporting day-to-day administrative operations.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and office schedules.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail, courier packages, and deliveries.
Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
Support internal teams with general office coordination and administrative duties.
Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies as needed.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Assist with additional administrative projects and ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
1+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented approach.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
