Wiring Designer - Multiple Locations Available, Surrey

Take on the role of Wiring Designer at IEM, where you will play a pivotal part in crafting detailed wiring diagrams. Utilize your AutoCAD skills to enhance electrical distribution systems across various locations.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience interpreting electrical diagrams. In this position, you will produce person-to-person wiring diagrams and layout control panels for production applications. Engaging with engineers and production teams to refine details and resolve issues is key to maintaining effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:• Create wiring diagrams based on electrical schematics • Produce control panel layouts for devices and connectors • Conduct self-reviews for quality assurance • Collaborate in peer reviews for drawing accuracy • Liaise with production to address design clarifications

Requirements:• At least 2 years experience in electrical drafting • Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Microsoft Office • Benefits from exposure to document control systems • Experience in a panel-shop environment preferred • Willing to travel for plant reviews occasionally
