Security Technician, St. John's Southwest

The Role

Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of security equipment such as alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, gates, and computer networks.

Install new systems and upgrades with accuracy to meet client needs and expectations.

Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines.

Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional customer service, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure optimal system function.

Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory.

Work at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as lift 50+ lbs.

Ability to work safely in a construction site environment is a must.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the security industry, with in-depth knowledge of IP Cameras, access Control and Intrusion systems.

Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment is required.

Comfort with working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as lifting 50+ lbs.

Ability to work safely in a construction site environment is a must.

High degree of accuracy and thoroughness.

Strong organizational skills.

Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.

Motivated self-starter and effective team player.

Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver's license.

This is a full-time permanent position with a very attractive compensation package including benefits, pension matching, and other employee incentives. Positions are being filled in Newfoundland.
