Job Description Grant Hall Hotel Main Dining Room&Lounge (Upper Casual)

Position Overview Grant Hall Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Food&Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations of our Main Dining Room and Lounge (Browning Owl Lounge). This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in an upper‑casual dining environment and is passionate about guest experience, team leadership&training, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations for the dining room and lounge
Lead, train, schedule, and support service staff
Ensure consistent guest service standards and handle guest concerns professionally
Coordinate with kitchen and hotel departments to ensure smooth service
Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations
Support event service and hotel functions as needed
Qualifications
Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience (hotel experience an asset)
Wine, liquor, and cocktails experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of Toast or other POS systems and service standards
Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Must have a valid work permit, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship.
Compensation
Pay is negotiable
Compensation may be structured as hourly or salaried
