Job Description:
Provide production support for the "RDJ" accounting Middleware for Data Validation and transformation
Support the nightly batch on an on-call basis. Investigate and resolve any technical issue, incidents or processing anomalies occurring in the batch
Provide the response and required explanation for any user inquiry related to accounting anomalies
Perform analysis for enhancement and new accounting mapping to be developed
Provide estimate for development and testing efforts
Prepare technical design and technical specification documents are required
Coordinate with team members supporting the general ledger and financial data repository to test new banking products and accounting schemes
Maintain the current status of all the assigned requests in Jira and manage the change requests for the application
Update the team leader and management on all assignments in daily scrum call
Adhere to all Client policies and mandatory training requirements in a timely manner
Intermediate skills for SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle Database
Intermediate Linux scripting skills to troubleshoot failed batch jobs and programs
Experience with Pro C and C batch programming
Basic knowledge of batch support tools like Control-M or Job Scheduler
Ability to learn an account rules designer application using a proprietary DML
Functional Profiles:
Basic knowledge of accounting i.e. Ledgers, Balance Sheet and off-Balance sheet accounts, P&Accounts
Experience in the banking or other Financial Services Industry
Documentation skills for developments, implementation release plan and run book updates
