Senior Financial Analyst (Mississauga)

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key business partner for stakeholders throughout the business providing data and insights to improve informed decisions. The role supports cross‑functional partners and requires hybrid work with three days onsite at our Mississauga Head Office. Responsibilities

Prepare month‑end close reporting, including financial and operational reports. Conduct variance analysis with root‑cause investigation, develop action plans, and execute those plans with team management. Reconcile balance sheet accounts. Analyze results versus budget, forecast, and prior year.Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to review results and provide recommendations for key business decisions. Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders and key leaders. Collect, analyze, and interpret data, quantifying financial opportunity and risk to support strategic decisions.Lead or participate in business initiatives that provide a financial lens and enhance decision‑making processes. Develop and maintain key metrics required for decision‑making. Ensure operations comply with Protected Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), and Good Drivers Practices (GDP) for transport rules and regulations.Complete other projects or duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, commerce, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and financial planning. CPA designation required. Advanced problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to leverage breadth of expertise across functional impacts.Self‑directed, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of accounting software such as JD Edwards, BlackLine, and OneStream, databases such as HOST, and Power BI.Ability to work extended hours as needed.
