Eaton Custom Order Product Specialist, Milton

Join Eaton’s Electrical sector as a Custom Order Product Specialist in Milton, ON. This key role combines engineering expertise with customer interaction to ensure accurate designs and product support.

Reporting to Eaton’s manufacturing plants, you will provide engineering solutions by preparing drawings, managing bills of materials, and aligning project timelines. This role involves collaboration with departments such as Marketing and Customer Service to meet specifications and approve designs. You will bring your engineering knowledge to optimize the process for custom orders and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop wiring diagrams and accurate engineering drawings • Maintain bills of material in the ERP system • Coordinate Engineered to Order (ETO) and Configured to Order (CTO) product orders • Manage project timelines and capacity planning milestones • Support customer meetings for design approvals

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering • Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software
