Group Summary
Cosma provides a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to global customers, bringing lightweight and innovative products to market. Job Responsibilities
Support continuous improvement initiatives on the plant floor and in the office, focusing on material flow, inventory, replenishment, KPI tracking, and engineering change. Collect baseline data and create process maps/spaghetti diagrams for a selected area (Material Flow Current‑State Map). Analyze inventory, WIP, and line‑side stock data to identify drivers and improvement opportunities (Inventory/WIP Opportunity Analysis).Develop a part‑by‑part replenishment and presentation opportunity plan, including point‑of‑use storage, FIFO lanes, supermarkets, delivery frequency, containerization, routes and new technology solutions such as AMRs (Replenishment&Presentation Improvement). Build simple Excel dashboards to track agreed KPIs such as delivery frequency, space utilisation, and material handling productivity (KPI Tracking&Reporting). Participate in 5S/Kaizen activities, capture actions, track completion, and update standard work/visual controls (CI Event Support). Assist in evaluating material flow impacts for packaging/BOM/point‑of‑use changes and support implementation tasks (Engineering Change Support). Job Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Co‑Op program in Supply Chain, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business (Operations/Supply Chain), or a related field. Interest in Lean/Continuous Improvement concepts (coursework or project experience is an asset). Ability to read basic layouts/drawings (CAD exposureis an asset).Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint and Visio or similar flowcharting tools is an asset. Strong analytical skills with the ability to organise data, identify trends and summarise findings. Detail‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and spending time on the plant floor.Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and meet deadlines with guidance. Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate cross‑functionally. Other Expectations

Occasional travel to customer or supplier locations may be required, depending on project needs.
