Description The Village of Ridgeview Court has an exciting opportunity for a Program for Active Living Coordinator to join their team.

The expected hiring range for this position is $44,000 to $48,000 for Non-Registered and $48,000 to $52,000 for Registered PAL Coordinator. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

To be successful as our new PAL Coordinator, you will:

Hold a Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behaviour and exercise rehabilitation

Demonstrate experiencedeveloping,implementing, evaluating, and modifyingphysical and/or cognitive exercise programs based on the needs of the residents

Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members

Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the role

It would be an asset if our new PAL Coordinator has:

Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario

Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices a Experience and/or desire to provide educational sessions/ seminars

Demonstratedexperience working with seniors and/or persons with cognitive or physical impairments

Experience working in the retirement and long-term care sector (eg. School placement)
