Web Services&Marketing Assistant (Part‑Time) Location:Medicine Hat, AB (In‑Office) Type:Part‑Time, Hourly (≈30 hours per week to start) Department:Web Services / Internal Marketing Reports To:Web Services Manager / Leadership Team About Partek IT Solutions Partek IT Solutions is a growing Managed IT Services Provider basedin Medicine Hat, serving businesses across Southern Alberta. In addition to IT services, we provide website development, hosting, and ongoing web support for our clients — and we actively invest in our own internal marketing and digital presence.We’re looking for adetail‑oriented, dependable assistantto support our Web Services team while also helping execute internal marketing initiatives. This is a great role for someone looking to build experience acrossweb, digital marketing, and creative operationsin a real‑world business environment.Role Overview The Web Services&Marketing Assistant provides hands‑on support to our Web Services department and internal marketing efforts. This role focuses onexecution, updates, coordination, and content support— helping ensure both client websites and Partek’s own marketing initiatives are kept current, organized, and polished.This is not a senior or strategy role. Success in this position comes from follow‑through, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple small tasks confidently and consistently. Key Responsibilities Web Services Support Assist with website updates, content changes, and page edits Upload and format content (text, images, basic layouts) in WordPress or similar CMSplatformsSupport ongoing website maintenance and minor enhancement requests Prepare content updates for review and approval Help maintain organized records of web requests and changes Internal Marketing Support Assist with internal marketing initiatives such as: Website content updates Blog posts and landing pagesEmail newsletters or campaigns Social media graphics or posts Help coordinate marketing materials for events, campaigns, or promotions Maintain consistency with Partek branding, tone, and style Support light design or content tasks using existing templates and tools Administrative&Team Support Help keep web and marketing workflows organized Track assigned tasks and follow up to completion Collaborate with the Web Services Manager and leadership team on priorities Assist with documentation and internal content libraries Skills&Qualifications Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Comfortable working with websites, content management systems, or digital tools Basic understanding of web concepts (pages, images, links, formatting) Interest in marketing, design, or digital content creation Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesOrganized, reliable, and comfortable working independently once trained Nice to Have (but not required): Experience with WordPress Familiarity with Canva, Adobe tools, or similar platforms Basic understanding of SEO or digital marketing Prior experience in a support or assistant role
