Estimator for Design-Build Projects, Markham

As an Estimator reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll interpret tender drawings for projects valued up to $1 billion. This role requires a refined understanding of estimating software and collaboration with field staff to provide accurate costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors. Prepare initial tender schedules and lead the tender management process.

Key Responsibilities:• Accurately interpret tender drawings and specifications • Perform quantity take-offs for cost estimates • Formulate tender costs across various project scopes • Chair meetings for project goals and timelines • Ensure accuracy of all tender submissions

Requirements:• University Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology • 5+ years’ experience in construction estimating • Familiarity with Design-Build projects • Experience with commercial bidding platforms • Valid driver’s license and ability to read construction documents
