Become a Financial Analyst with Extendicare based in Markham, Ontario, and impact our financial reporting while enjoying a flexible hybrid workspace.
In this role, you'll report to the Senior Finance Manager and support the corporate accounting team at Extendicare. Your responsibilities include preparing reports, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating effectively with team members. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and excel in managing simultaneous tasks in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:• Execute period-end closing processes • Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Generate and analyze income statements against budgets • Collaborate on special projects with finance teams
Requirements:• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration • 1-2 years of accounting experience • High proficiency in MS Excel • Strong ability to communicate and multitask • Detail-oriented with a focus on timely deliverables
