Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance (Full Time, Permanent)

Compensation:
$74,817 - $118,211
Note:
The compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Summary As Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance, you will support Financial Planning, Corporate Finance, and other business functions, providing long-range planning and strategic initiatives, leveraging strong financial modelling skills and accumulated business understanding. You will also support the business in achieving overall goals, presenting to the CFO and other executive leadership, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and update financial models to support the organization’s long‑range financial planning.
Prepare the 5‑year strategic business plan, contributing key assumptions and inputs for financial forecasts and communicating strategic direction.
Understand financial results and forecasts to communicate performance to stakeholders.
Support shareholder reporting, including quarterly board reports and other presentations.
Assist decision‑making on capital structure, optimizing use of credit facilities and supporting new financing initiatives.
Perform analysis for refinancing initiatives, including annual debt facility renewals.
Participate in monthly forecast and annual strategic planning processes, providing inputs and modelling assumptions.
Contribute to analyses for external stakeholders supporting financing initiatives.
Collaborate with finance and other functions to plan capital requirements and assess performance.
Provide finance subject‑matter expertise on future strategic initiatives.
Fulfill ad‑hoc requests from Private Equity sponsors.
Handle special projects as required.
Qualifications
University degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting or finance designation required (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent).
3‑5 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, banking, valuation or business planning; structured finance experience beneficial.
Experience in advisory (valuation or transaction services) or private equity considered an asset.
Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, assess commercial impacts, and communicate results referencing business drivers.
Proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling skills.
Understanding of key valuation metrics (IRR, NPV, leverage, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills and experience communicating with leadership.
Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and focus on meeting deadlines.
Ability to prioritize, critically analyze, solve problems, and where appropriate, elevate issues.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
