Join Vaco as a Senior Financial Analyst on a short-term contract in the Greater Toronto Area. Engage in quarterly reviews, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting research.
This role spans 3-4 months and requires a CPA with over five years of experience in relevant accounting fields. You will coordinate audits and prepare vital financial documents while collaborating with auditors and internal stakeholders to drive financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate annual external audits and reviews • Prepare financial statements and consolidation papers • Develop key audit committee reporting materials • Conduct IFRS technical research and memos • Prepare reconciliations and support additional projects
Requirements:• Professional accounting designation (CPA) • 5+ years of relevant financial experience • Experience in public accounting is advantageous • Strong IFRS and financial reporting skills • Must be eligible to work in Canada
