Description
Become an integral part of transit infrastructure as an Intermediate BIM Electrical Modeler. Design intricate electrical systems and contribute to pivotal projects that enhance community movement across the GTA.
This position requires 5+ years of relevant experience in CAD and BIM 3D modeling. You'll be responsible for producing detailed designs for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Collaborate with engineers and senior designers, and ensure all work adheres to recognized BIM standards while promoting digital technology advancements.
Key Responsibilities:• Design and model electrical distribution and lighting systems • Develop detailed installation packages for projects • Collaborate with engineering teams for technical solutions • Uphold and apply BIM standards consistently • Coordinate with offshore teams for design integration
Requirements:• 5+ years in Electrical design and BIM modeling • Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks • Knowledge of emergency power and fire alarm systems • Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative nature • Passion for emerging digital delivery technologies
