As a Quality Assurance Analyst at TAQ, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to delivering exceptional products. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and resolve defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure every release meets our high standards. This position is perfect for someone who is meticulous, proactive, and dedicated to continuous improvement in software quality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Create and execute test plans
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
Report and track defects
Automate test scripts
Ensure compliance with quality standards
Skills
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing)
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking; able to identify, document, and track defects accurately
Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum processes
Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR, accessibility)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimization
Experience leveraging AI-augmented testing tools and strategies to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection

Salary $50,000 CAD - $75,000 CAD
