In the SERDES Technology Group, this role is essential for developing advanced electrical and optical transceivers. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of micro-architecture. Your role will involve defining and verifying critical components that drive AMD’s innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:• Define architecture for transceiver circuits and verification • Perform electrical/optical link budgeting and modeling • Create specifications for integral transceiver components
Requirements:• PhD in Electrical Engineering or M.S. with relevant experience • Extensive design background in optical and electrical transceivers • Expertise in high-speed ADCs and DACs • Experience with PDK design methodologies
