Job Description
This position is responsible for performing routine and complex analytical testing and analyses of pharmaceutical finished products or raw materials. Follow Training SOP for training and training records
Execute and perform testing as per methods, following the company’s Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations and Change Control programs and cGMP guidelines.
Ensure that work order documentation is complete in every aspect and all results are entered into Lab Book.
Execute daily work determined by supervisor in order to maintain efficient workflow to assure completion of scheduled tasks and meet established due dates.
In case of testing failure, immediately report to the Department Manager before proceeding any further with the test. Assist in the failure investigations as instructed.
Conduct calibration and preventive maintenance of instruments/testing apparatus (e.g., HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Thermometer, Oven, etc.) for compliance and accurate testing results. Prepare and generate reports for method verification, validation and transfers. Ability to execute method verifications, validations, transfers based on signed protocols. Prepare and assist in preparation of Work Forms as per test methods. Capable of accurate review of Volumetric/Test/Colourimetric solution preparations. Perform water suitability test as per the method and guide other Analysts to be able to perform when required.
Qualifications
B.Sc. Chemistry, with experience
Over 3 years with demonstrated ability to complete more complex role/duties
Experience working with instrumentation such as GC, GCMS/HPLC along with Empower
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast paced, highly professional environment. Hand/Eye coordination, ability to stand out, think outside the box.
Able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Ability to work well with others&independently
Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Works well under pressure
Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time
