Location: Markham, Ontario (Hybrid, combination of in-office and remote work)

Your Responsibilities
You’ll prepare quarterly financial reports for internal leadership, global head office, and external stakeholders
You’ll maintain general ledgers and trial balances, ensuring accuracy across insurance operations
In this role, you’ll manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting timelines and deliverables
You’ll perform detailed reconciliations and present findings to cross-functional teams
You’ll support year-end audits and actuarial requests, ensuring compliance with internal controls
You’ll analyze large datasets using advanced Excel tools to identify trends and insights
You’ll collaborate with underwriting, claims, and support teams while contributing to ongoing system and process improvements
Skills and Qualifications
3–5 years of progressive financial reporting or accounting experience
CPA designation completed or in progress
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis tools
Experience working with large datasets and financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
