AMD is seeking a Senior Performance Architect in Markham to analyze critical CPU and AI workloads. Focus on enhancing architectural performance for next-gen processors and gaming technology.
In this role, you will be integral to the Client and Graphics SOC Performance Team, involved in debugging performance issues and developing comprehensive evaluation tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will sharpen your problem-solving skills and deepen your expertise in leading-edge SoC architecture.
Key Responsibilities:• Analyze and trace CPU workloads for performance optimization • Run simulations to assess architectural features • Identify future improvement opportunities in competitive products • Improve application tracing methodologies • Collaborate across disciplines on performance issues
Requirements:• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience • Solid background in system performance evaluation • Proficient in C/C++ and software engineering • Knowledge of microarchitecture concepts • Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering
