Your Opportunity BDO Canada is seeking a replacement Billing Coordinator to support the Finance Consulting team by owning the responsibilities below.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Project management accounting
Managing client billing, invoicing, and WIP reconciliations
Monitoring project progress, identifying budget gaps, and reporting issues
Producing timely reports, including reconciliations and variance analyses
Handling accounts receivable, collections, and invoice follow‑up; reconciling payments
Submitting customer invoices through portals and obtaining approvals
Preparing activity reports for clients per standards
Reconciling vendor invoices and recognizing margins
Participating in ad hoc projects

Education And Professional Skills/Knowledge
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a financial role
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Tech savvy; familiarity with Power BI is an asset
Experience with government billing is an asset
Excellent analytical and team collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management, task prioritization, and attention to detail
Strong ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements/requests from the business
Ability to work with a high volume of data and meet deadlines
Academic background in accounting or pursuing an accounting designation is an asset
The expected range of compensation for this role is $51,000–$77,000 annually.
