Elevate Berts Electric’s workforce as the HR Manager, focusing on strategic people practices and organizational growth. Lead recruiting, onboarding, and performance management while nurturing a strong company culture.
As a key player in Berts Electric, the HR Manager will report to the President. You’ll oversee the end-to-end recruiting process and design onboarding programs that connect new hires effectively. Building development plans, managing performance reviews, and ensuring compliance are essential to this hands-on role catering to both field and office staff.
Key Responsibilities:• Lead recruiting process: posting, screening, and interviewing • Design impactful onboarding for new hires • Develop staff performance and career development plans • Manage performance review cycles and feedback processes • Ensure compliance with employment agreements and policies
Requirements:• 5+ years HR experience, including a leadership role • Valid Class 5 driver’s license • Knowledge of BC Employment Standards and WorkSafeBC • Strong interpersonal and feedback skills • Experience in trades or construction preferred
