Job Summary

Technical Implementation Engineer I responsible for escalating and resolving complex technical issues for Landis+Gyr deployments, working across multiple internal departments to ensure customer success and product quality. Key Responsibilities

Own test environments and labs for the deployment organization. Create and use relevant use‑case scenarios to demonstrate GridStream system performance. Support System Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new customer deployments. Assist manufacturing resources in First Article Testing (FAT) and monitor FAT processes.Lead development of standard operating procedures and repeatable solutions for technical elements. Follow formal change‑control processes. Develop deep knowledge of two‑way electric AMI technology from head‑end software to field endpoints. Document CRM tickets fully, resolving or escalating within SLA guidelines.Proactively follow up on technical issues to ensure timely resolution. Support software installation for new releases and post‑implementation support. Test and support beta software releases, identifying gaps in documentation. Participate in root‑cause analysis teams for deployment‑related system problems.Act as liaison between business units to resolve defects and issues. Education&Experience

Bachelor of Science degree required. Experience with solutions involving both software and hardware. Utility operations experience is a plus. Candidate must live in Canada and be fully bilingual in French and English. Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with methodical root‑cause analysis. Adaptability in an agile work environment. Ability to work unsupervised and self‑starter. Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities.Experience with wireless technologies. Background in software quality testing. Utility domain knowledge. Experience with Windows desktop/server platforms, Unix, networking, and scripting. Ability to plan and maintain schedules. Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem solving.Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work under stressful conditions. Capacity to multitask and prioritize. Willingness to travel approximately 25%. Working Conditions
