Production Support Engineer
Client: Leading Quant Fund Salary: Up to 180,000 CAD + bonus + robust perks Location: Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid / Remote) A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring a Production Support Engineer to ensure their global trading platforms operate reliably and efficiently. You’ll support the full trade lifecycle from pre-trade checks through to post-trade operations—monitoring systems, resolving incidents quickly, and escalating when necessary to protect critical trading activity. You’ll also collaborate closely with infrastructure teams to improve automation, stability, and overall platform performance.Key responsibilities
Monitor and support live trading and transaction systems Troubleshoot alerts, incidents, and production issues Manage scheduled changes and automated workflows Work with infra teams to drive automation and improvements Support continuous platform reliability and performance What they’re looking for
2+ years’ experience in application / production / front-office support Strong Python and/or Bash scripting skills Solid SQL / relational database experience (Postgres or similar) Strong Linux knowledge Passion for technology and problem-solving This is a great opportunity to join a high-performancetrading workplace where reliability, speed, and precision are critical.
