Personal Support Worker, Medically Complex Service– 1 position Location: Parkwood Institute Main – London, ON Employment type: Part Time Salary Range: $30.44 – $30.77 /hour The Complex Care program includes three units that provide care for individuals with chronic and complex medical conditions. This role provides coverage to all units within the program, supporting patients with ongoing medical management and rehabilitation following major medical events.Responsibilities

Provide coverage across all units within the Complex Care program. Essential Qualifications

Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited education facility. Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (External Applicants Only). Knowledge of a safety culture in a health‑care setting in compliance with the OHSA.Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Palliative Care course or ability to complete within 12 months. Registered to attend the APPS (Advanced Palliative Practice Skills) program or ability to complete within 24 months. Experience and knowledge of the care needs of continuing‑care patients.Capability to establish positive interpersonal relationships. Ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills. Ability to apply effective body mechanics and meet the physical demands of the position, including heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.Demonstrated flexibility and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications

Secondary (High) School Diploma. Proficiency in French would be an asset. Immunization Requirements

Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chickenpox), hepatitis B, COVID-19, and influenza. Provide documentation of tuberculosis skin testing.
